Dr. Rodrigues has over 20 years experience. She became a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetritians and Gynaecologists(RANZCOG) in January 2005. She trained at the Womens and Childrens Hospital in Adelaide and subsequently worked at the Flinders Medical Centre as a visiting Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.

After completing her training, she also worked as a fellow in advanced laparoscopic surgery at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne.

Dr Rodrigues has additional qualifications in Ultrasonography (DDU) from the Australasian Society of Ultrasound medicine (ASUM).

Her aim is to provide the highest quality of care to women during all stages of their lives. Dr Rodrigues has special interests in pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence and has undertaken advanced training in these areas. She performs urodynamic studies on women with bladder problems so they can avail the best course of treatment for their incontinence issues. She is passionate about improving the quality of life of the women suffering from the silent epidemic of urinary incontinence. Her friendly nature often puts her patients at ease who at times find seeing a gynaecologist quite intimidating.

Dr. Rodrigues manages both low risk and high risk pregnant women. She delivers babies at the Mater Private Hospital and feels privileged to be a part of the miracle of birth. This husband and wife team provides excellent care and support to their patients, and see them as part of their extended family at NG GyneHealth. They moved to Mackay from Adelaide to set up a family friendly Obstetrics and Gynaecology practice. Their combined experience allows them to offer women an exceptional quality of care and continuity. Sally also enjoys spending quality time with her two young children and her friends.
